@MsHearthWitch AAAA it’s been too long since I’ve had shokupan, and never homemade (there’s a local grocery that gets a delivery of fresh goodies from a bakery in the Chicago area that makes really good melonpan and choco corone too)
@enc0de I was totally monching on some during our game tonight, lmao.
I learned how to make it through an online zoom call during the height of early covid shut downs with Nami from just one cookbook and a Japanese pastry chef. Was just them, me and an adorable gay desi couple. We spent the whole day hanging on zoom and learning to make it from scratch.
@MsHearthWitch that sounds lovely! I’ve had her recipe bookmarked for ages wanting to make it but it seemed fiddly so I’ve not made a run at it just yet 😅
