bluesky doesn't have a critical mass of people to follow so i keep checking the "what's hot" and it has extremely bad tech brain memes and mostly is about how great it is there, which, when you haven't found it to be that great, is vaguely alienating

OK, this is weird. What happened was, PornHub (world’s largest porn shop?) was acquired by mystery money operating under the name “Ethical Capital Partners” (uh-huh).

@SiouxsieW got mine a few years ago cos I was going to Seattle where they had a big outbreak (which was very adjacent to the people I was working with)

No issues until 2 weeks after when it kicked my arse for 24 hours. I get the same from covid and flu shots (usually the next day)

Guess what I’m doing this afternoon? Anzac Day might be in bed or on the couch… 💉 💉

Some moonsets are bloody magnificent. Like last night's for example. I was atop Mount John near lake Tekapo and the sky went bonkers! Crepuscular Rays! The moon! The colour!

The single biggest concern I have about moving from Welly to Palmy is having to find new doctors for Wife and Mr19.
Every practice is chocca.

We've even considered doing the 2hr commute back to Karori to use current doctors, especially for Wife.

My employer, a privately-owned NZ tech company, was bought by a US company recently. Employees got paid out for their stock options, the company will be expanding with new investment, etc.

Yet NZ tech media have completely failed to notice. Bit disappointing considering the amount of coverage companies like Vend got. Maybe we’re just too small or niche?
