It's honestly pretty funny how when bald eagles are shown in media, they dub in the screech of a red-tailed hawk, because everyone apparently decided the actual cry of a bald eagle is too derpy for America's national animal.

In real life, bald eagles don't screech like hawks — they mostly just whistle and chirp, and their loudest call sounds more like a high-pitched seagull caw.

But it's much more fun to pretend they have a piercing screech because it sounds like FREEDOM.
