@freakazoid I have a jewish friend and an anti-semitic friend.

I have even bad them both over to my house once, they debated a bunch of neat things. I don't think they are going to go get beers together any time soon, but... I think everyone came out of the experience with a better understanding.

Anyway, you can't cancel a project just cuz one guy is a Terf. You should befriend that guy, then send him a picture of you wearing a dress, and get him to admit that u look good.

    @flockofnazguls ive been using MX Linux too (a flavor called AV Linux). I'm going to migrate off of it, it's been impossible to change my window manager, and I've spent hours tweaking things.

    I figured thered be a command flag to relog with a different WM, but I'm pretty sure some system settings are getting overwritten.

    I just came to the conclusion that AV linux was already too precustomized for my liking!

    @jwildeboer @bert_hubert now we need to add that tracking detection to TVs, smart devices and phones. That stuff is the kicker.

    What's sick is that many paid apps implement trackers too.

    @tek oh, it has a purpose for sure. But it just takes up so much screen real estate... and is otherwise awkward!

    No other app uses a static right hand navbar like that... I guess it reminds me of wysiwyg editors like dreamweaver or visual studio or photoshop.

    I confess I'm not big into UX or using apps, and im no good with. Javascript. But I think the best way to fix this would be a hamburger-style pop out menu, and I'm sure I can whip that up.

    My older son wants to start working out at a fitness center. They require that you pay from a checking account; you can't use a credit card. This is not a small business either.

    I'm sitting there thinking absolutely NOT. No way would I allow that access.

    Doing a big clean out and final sweeping and vacuum of #shedstudio today, and moving in instruments and equipment tonight.

    I've spent over 2 years learning how to do carpentry, roofing, and how to use tools and get things done.

    I'm not certain I'd ever used any kind of powered saw before I started this project. So I'm really friggin excited.

    Tonight I went to a rock show for the first time in what feels like years. There were three bands billed. It was kind of a reunion show for a couple of local bands. They hadn't performed together for nearly a decade.

    Goddamn, music is powerful. I'll be 35 next week, but tonight I felt like I was 19. But just the good parts of 19.

    @4bz I have been learning so much about how buildings work since I started this project. I had never done anything like this before. It was a 2x4 framed, concrete floor, plywood wall and door, structure with a collapsing roof when I started.

    So its a big damn learning experience. But goddamn. Now I appreciate all the work in every building I enter.

    Anyway, you let me know if you need tips. It only takes hundreds of dollars and time.
