This is exactly the kind of phone I want, I don’t understand why there isn’t higher demand for audio phones like there is for camera phones. I also want to see the introduction of DACs to more smartphones and/or earbuds as that technology continues to scale down. But idk, checking the website (and understanding that it’s the non primary language site) doesn’t fill me with hope.
Yeah and this is where I’m willing to admit I’m a weirdo. But like I don’t need pictures of myself, or my food, or the fireworks. If I can see the detail in question for a funny thing I stumbled upon, then the camera is good enough for me. I certainly don’t need 8 different kinds of camera in my phone.
As a life ling swimmer/coach I can tell you this is not as surprising as it sounds. The last time the Chinese made headlines in swimming it was because Sun Yang’s mother ordered blood vials be destroyed before they could be tested, which we all know is incredibly innocent behavior.
Because this was so last second, you’ve been awarded a single action item that will be accomplished immediately without litigation or bureaucratic red tape. What do you do to “save” the sport?
For me, it’d be implementing limits and controls on advertising. I’m tired of the money of the sport dictating the actual sport (read updating the running clock rules) and while in our society it certainly can’t be eliminated. But I would put limits on how many and how long media timeouts are allowed to be, and revert clock rules to pre 2023 or similar rules. CFB has a captive audience so you could dramatically increase ad prices to counter limited space, so I honestly believe that revenue losses would be minimal. That and smack caps on said media deals, and force the broadcasters to more evenly distribute coverage amongst non super 2 programs. In the age of streaming there’s no reason we can’t have more broadcast crews covering more games. I’d even recommend combining the media’s systems with the college’s own broadcast systems for better coverage (think mlb getting two different broadcasts for each team’s crew).
TL;DR: Football only, 7 permanent conferences of 10, one more with pro/rel, 16-team playoff with objective criteria, centralized media negotiation, NOT fully equal revenue among schools, private equity definitely involved, ESPN/FOX very much not on board for now, SEC/B1G also wary....
Nothing about regonality with the conferences, but I assume the non pro/rel conferences would be regional. So this model probably meets my criteria of Tennessee play bama and fLorida every year. I do like that teams would be the owners of the league, and that revenue would be distributed based on brand value. As always the pro/rel model for the 8th conference MUST protect rivalries imo, and I still don’t love a playoff model. But honestly as far as cfb models go this one isn’t my least favorite.
Not that your point is bad, but with the current model some of those “50k” teams may not even have a conference with a revenue deal at all if things keep going the espn/fox way. So the incentive may just be the stability of a super league. Either way the more transparent the better.
So I checked out reddit after a long time and was going through the top of r/videogames subreddit and I could clearly see a pattern in most of the posts there. Posts were mostly like “what game ______ for you?” or “what game _____ like this?” Now I could be wrong but it doesn’t feel ‘organic’ (if that’s correct...
It’s about time they made a sequel. I saw the highway fight scene from the first time a sequel was in the works and honestly its a shame that there hasn’t been a Matrix 2 yet.
I mean duh? Search engines used to be an incredibly powerful tool, now they link nothing but “top ten x to buy in 2024” lists that are filled with ads and likely get a portion of sales through links.

When it gets to that point, I’ll mute the TV and find the local radio call instead.
You should do this anyway, honestly increases the quality of the broadcasts at least an order of magnitude. Bob Kesling isn’t even that great compared to the legend John Ward, but he’s miles better than the ESPN/CBS “A” teams that will only talk about the playoff and bama/tOSU and lightyears ahead of the B squads over on SECN.
