Ran a demo of
@genesisoflegend's Sig: City of Blades last night at a gaming pub. Completely forgot half the rules, but with the city synched to Freedom, Dreams, and Wind, the chaos was expected, esp. with one PC deciding right away an assassination letter killed them (they got better)

As I continue to run After the War, I continue to gain new insights into the mechanics. There is one small sub-system that absolutely sings when it's used but people rarely pick up on it in practice. I am uncertain whether it is a problem with the design itself or of how it's communicated.

I think we ought to talk about Lumberjills, by the Mo Turkington of Unruly Designs. She led War Birds project, an award-winning anthology of games about women in World War II.

The other day I took a moment to read through "Broken Cities" by @comemartin (comemartin.itch.io) who publishes RPGs in both French and English. There's a lot of clever stuff in this little game worth your attention. "Broken Cities" is identified as an Urban and Quixotic Roleplaying Game, and echoes things like Calvino's "Invisible or Evil Hat Production’s "Don't Rest your Head". It presents a group of travelers to a strange, otherworldly city that seems to run on dream logic.
