Something I don't always remember when making #mathart is to change parameters at random just to see what happens. This code is almost identical to the last image, if you make the individual flowers much much bigger so they overwhelm the image. #rtistry #genartclub

Numerically calculated period 1 continent of the multibrots.

Not sure I got it completely correct, it doesn't always seem to overlap the fractal but it looks cool. Didn't expect it to be disconnected!

And I expected it to be prettier!

Here's another output from the summer's abandoned project. I didn't have any real direction with these except I wanted to do something with colour and texture. Now I have a big set of images like this that I don't know what to do with!

Car free life update! About 8 months now with no car. We've hired a car once and borrowed one once in that time. Every other journey has been fine by other means. Some adjustments to lifestyle like only going to beaches accessible by bus or train but in Norfolk that's not a big deal. We also shop more locally than we did..

The idea that personal choices can't affect climate change seems absurd to me. Corporations only pollute because we ask them to in the course of the things we consume. If you don't fly are airlines still putting on flights? I'd guess not. Government actions also crucial of course but don't give yourself a pass on the things you can do.
