I recently discovered that I have ADHD so I'm trying to 'reorganize' my life for the betterment of my health and mental health. (Any advice about this is very appreciated!)

regarding food, I personally mark the pictures as sensitive out of consideration for those who might be sensitive to photos of food due to health reasons. it's up to you if you want to CW and/or mark as sensitive. some people i know will mark as sensitive/cw it and describe whats in the food pic (e.g., pork or beef) out of consideration for those with religious dietary practices. there's no hard and fast rule for this, so just go with what you are comfortable with

Interesting! The way calckey handles marking pics as sensitive content means the whole post goes under a CW, unlike on mastodon where you can just blur out the pic

@ada I figured out my problem! It was a mistake because the eye+slash icon is mark as sensitive on Tusky and I had assumed it's the same here (can't read what they do on the phone). Thanks for clarifying the function!

I haven't been posting to but I am fixing that today! The chicken tikka masala was eh. Ok. The garlic naan decent. The sauteed beef decently good enough (but kinda chewy). My expectations for food court food is low but I'm not unhappy. I do like Urban Rituals drinks!

Tbh I think it's okay if people go back. People who want to stay will stay, those who won't will leave. And each time, there will be some who will stay, so bringing out the welcoming committee is not a waste! It's just hospitality

Still thinking about my friend meetup yesterday... I should just prepare FAQ cards because people always ask me:

  1. why don't you work in a tech company?
  2. why do you live in the bay area when you work remote 100% of the time?
  3. why did you move in with your ex-housemate instead of moving somewhere cheaper alone or find a new housemate?

... I'm tired of answering ahaha

@Zaraen welcome! I enjoy genshin impact, Honkai star rail and ttrpg too! There's only really two general tips I have: 1) hashtags are your friend - you can follow hashtags on here to find people who share the same interests!, 2) it's common to add alt-text to images so that our blind and low vision friends on here can enjoy the images too! (And you can totally tag your cat pic with #/CatsOfMastodon tag, which is one of my fav tags 😄)
