@peachfront The last one I posted today actually has a ring, sometimes carrier pigeons like to stop by here! And of course the wood pigeons. They're all pretty.
@DavidFord
Thanks, the shutter speeds seem to be okay and the light meter is working fine. I have some rolls of expired Ilford HP5+, I'll probably use one of those in the Minox.
@randahl I think it has mainly to do with their living environments - the wood pigeons like to live more rural outside the busy city with less humans around, they truly are creatures of the forest. Which our backyard partly is. I've never seen one of them in the busy inner city where their smaller cousins are living in much greater numbers.
@lappenjammer There's nothing especially to remember because they bury them in ALL the flowerboxes and pots! Wherever they dig, there will be walnuts and acorns 😅
@rick_t137 I had the Powershot S1, S5, SX10, SX30 and currently the SX60 and SX70 - before I got my Sony A65, I used the Canon bridge cameras exclusively. I still love the 60 and 70, though! And I've had the chance to try out an M50 and I really liked it, but it's not really the right camera for me.
@inky Sadly, the Praktica B200 has gotten relatively rare in the last few years. It's not easy to find one in good condition, but sometimes they appear on eBay.
@inky That's true, it has the Praktica bajonet mount, but Pentacon made an M42 adaptor for the B series that is still widely available. So you can easily put M42 lenses on it, although you have to use stop-down metering of course.
