"unTie #2", an abstract digital artwork. Two dissolving streams of geometric particles reach towards a point near the center of the canvas. The particles are blue and yellow, the background is dark like space.
"unTie #82", an abstract digital artwork. Concentric circles of small particles that resemble ripples on a surface of water are near the center of the canvas, going out from a layer under it are streams of small particles undulating towards the upper and lower edge of the canvas. The background is divided into rectangular areas in bright yellow, red and light blue, resembling stacked cargo containers.

Ok, I just did an experiment. I set my computer back to Mon, 11/13/23, 11:30 pm or so, and I tried the USA 1HWs game. I got game #82, which is supposed to be Tuesday's game. But when I set my clock back to 9 pm, I got game #81 (which is the game I missed this week).
I think maybe since you're in Central time, @skullvalanche, and you created the game, that means my computer has to be before midnight Central time (so before 11 pm Eastern) in order to get that day's game. Does that make sense?
And maybe that's why I was a day ahead all week, even on days when I played between 11 pm and midnight Eastern. (I think that was the case for at least some of the days this week.)
@skullvalanche@teamheardle Hmm, but DST changed Sunday, and that was the only day I was on the right game. I noticed that I said in my Sunday post something about finishing "well before midnight."
I might fool around a little more. This is baffling. I'm pretty sure that I didn't go past midnight Eastern every night this week, though the time on my pc may have been manually set most nights.
Also, why did you have game #82 on Monday and not #81? I think you might have been ahead some other nights after that too. i'm not sure.

What an inspiring design: https://www.councilfire.ca/spirit-garden/. Call to Action #82 of the Truth and Reconciliation Council's Final Report is for every major city in Canada to erect a monument to the legacy of residential schools. Looks like Toronto's is going to be stunning
I like IPA and there’s like 3-4 very distinct sort of IPAs. There’s a imperial IPA from a local craft around me that’s almost caramel dark and people might not even call an IPA on a blind taste test.
But, I must agree it’s kinda silly theres 2-3 IPAs in the craft section for every other type most places. I tend to buy the IPAs when I buy craft beer (outside of making a trip to the really big selection places) because the only other craft options are like “bland blonde #82 from probably owned by Budweiser brewery” or “ale that tastes like spoiled Newcastle”. Sometimes they have dales pale ale in a few different labels for more money.
Craft beer has just become a shit show at retailers for me. No one carries any of the cans I like anymore. I have to go far out of my way to buy anything I actually want. Fortunately I live 15ish minutes from a downtown with a half dozen good breweries that have 10+ beers on tap year round. I’m not a bar/brewery person and I wish I could get cans to drink at home still though.

I'd saw off my leg for my grocery store to start carrying something besides shitty IPA's and Budweiser (lemmy.ml)
