I was recently forced to create redundant docs and since I hate Confluence, I started looking for a tool that allows me to just write Markdown in versioned files and generate the docs in Confluence.

https://github.com/Roave/DocbookTool is doing the job just fine for the simple pages I have. using it for a while already. Thx @roaveteam @asgrim @ocramius :)

Perfect start to Synchronicity Festival with toe, one of the best live bands around. Last time I've seen them was 5 years ago on this exact same stage (Spotify O-East, although then it was still called Shibuya O-East) ❤️

@kuechel @kuketzblog Die Tabelle auf https://github.com/mollyim/mollyim-android-unifiedpush?tab=readme-ov-file#dependency-comparison ist gut. Also ja, es ist abhängig von der App und dann würde, falls vorhanden, FCM verwendet werden mit fallback auf websockets.

Aber man müsste dennoch wissen wie mans installiert hat oder zumindest in den Android App details Hinweise dazu finden :)

@saramg yes.. And people casually ask others about their blood type and are like "oh, so that's why you are <personality trait>". Or if you care about details people are like "You're such an A, aren't you?!" 😅😓

This looks suspiciously similar to azjezz/psl, just with a different API. It even has the same name: PHP Standard Library.

The PHP community would be better if devs worked together instead of copying and re-branding someone else's work. Credit to azjezz for the original PSL.

Just saying, but the AWS docs are absolutely unusable without external search engines.

If one wants to bring AWS to its knees, it just needs to be blacklisted in Google/DuckDuckGo/Bing (if somebody actually uses that).

Achievement of the day: Replaced overly complicated legacy JS code having 6 nesting levels with new simple logic having 2 nesting levels. Also using 2 early exits to achieve that 💪

I'm going soon back to France for 10 days, mainly to see my mother and make her happy.

I will fly with Etihad to Abu Dhabi, which takes 12 hours and 40 minutes.
Then to Barcelona, which takes 7 hours and 15 minutes.
Finally, to Perpignan via train, which takes 1 hour and 20 minutes.

That is going to be a long journey.

I'm catching some flak for requiring array_filter callback to return a strict bool in the latest PHPStan release.

Returning non-bool like int or string is most likely a bug on user's side. Zero means the value gets filtered out, same for falsey strings like '' and '0'.

Doing:
array_filter($a, fn (array $subarrays) => count($subarrays))

is probably on purpose, but what about:
array_filter($a, fn (Entity $e) => $e->getId())

Yeah, that looks more like a bug, in both cases it's returning an int.

@ocramius they call it umibudou which means literally sea grapes. It seems to be https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caulerpa_lentillifera

The taste is mild IMO, but it is dipped in ponzu, which is citrus-based. That and the "funny" mouth feel makes it very interesting I think. My wife said she ate it the first time which is impressive for her, so it must not be that common xD
