Some impressions from todayโs visit to Hallstatt in Upper Austria. The scenery was as grand as ever, but the place is plagued by overtourism to an extent that is almost as bad as in Kyoto. ๐ค
@norbertwoehnl nice. In lockdown times I remember seeing a documentation about Hallstatt. The people seem to love and hate tourists at the same time. Complained that there were too many before Corona and then not enough. Guess now they have enough again ๐
Also: I regularly forget that you're Austrian ๐
My train has started, delay was due to bad weather, it will even have to skip a stop..
Spotty connection, so I have to ditch my plan of building a new Docker image while traveling ๐ but I'm trying to follow #phpday stream and Johannes Pichler's talk about building APIs with Laravel
At the local super market:
I passed by here many times, then I started to wonder why this fridge with sweets is not located near to the other food area. These here need to look tasty to pet owners, and then be bought for their pets :)
Seeing these, @hananoaki commented along the lines of "well, overaging population, many people having pets instead of children..".
@globalc@benoit@hananoaki wow. I remember my in-laws were getting ใใใกๆ็ for their dog ๐ and AFAIK it was seasoned for dogs, so basically no salt and such. I would assume such cakes are also not sweet then, but I surely don't know..
