The Apache httpd project is running a vote on its dev mailing list to move from subversion primary and github mirror to git primary and github ui.

Yes, it‘s 2023. And yes, there are opinions. If we change (looks like it), I‘d be happy just for practical purposes.

    TIL: there is indeed a better way of hashing than integer modulo. And interestingly, while mentioned by Knuth, it seems to have fallen into „academic valley“.

    @jpmens Moved away from Santander years ago due to horrible software bugs and them losing 5 digit transactions internally. Which were found months later resting on one persons desk for not knowing how to proceed this internally.
