    @seachanger All the time! On the one hand it’s job security for scientists. On the other hand there are a lot of interesting questions about how to make decisions right now with the information at hand, even if there’s a lot of uncertainty.

    so I’m toying with the idea of embarking on a year of practicing (what I call) Utopianism, as an explicit frame for my writing, reading, posting and travel

    AOC recently commented somewhere that dooming is comparatively easy right now. The real work is imagining & creating the communities and societies we know are possible and want to live within.

    what if I committed to that frame for a year? hmmm 🤔

    Why aren’t more people talking about @omnivore as a read it later service?

    It’s free, open source, works more reliably than Pocket or Instapaper, zero limitations like Matter - all entirely free even if you use their server. Self-hosting totally an option too.

    @wiredfire I’ve been using it for a couple months now, and it’s been great! Super easy to export notes and highlights if you want to keep them in or another notetaking app too!
