i hardly ever ask someone’s gender or look into it because i legitimately do not care
i dont give a single shit
i can barely remember people’s pronouns because i dont think of people in that way.
people have been removed from gender in my mind. i can see the world of gender abolition in my mind clearly, and its one of more important qualities. caring about character, and beliefs instead of this weird ass “hey, what does your brain think of yourself in relation to the societal prescriptions and roles ascribed to these words???”
You want to watch a movie. You put it on. Two hours have passed. You haven't watched the movie. There are five new tasks in front of you. You want to watch a different movie.
There is an object in your hand. It is extremely important that you don't lose it. You look down. There is nothing in your hand. Why are you looking at your hands?
You don't know your friend's name. You have been friends for months. They just told you their name. You don't know their name.
Someone asks you what you just said. Did you say something? You said so many things. You are talking too much. You said nothing. You said everything.
There is something you're forgetting. You check. You check again. There is nothing you're forgetting. There is something you're forgetting.
There is a task that needs to be done. It should take ten minutes. You check the clock. It's been five minutes. You check the clock. It's been three days.
Sometimes i share my thoughts, they're usually chaotic and often contradictory, like ripping whatever the subject is a part with all the tools at my disposal, poke and probing it to see what happens.
Like these are not necessarily my views or my convictions, think of it like being in a room where alot of different people debate things or argue for things to explore a topic, it's more of a game than anything serious.
Anyways...
So trains, they connect people and places but they also require infrastructure and personal that know how to operate them, cars require that too but more people know how to drive a car than know how to drive a train.
There are more roads than rails, if a society was entirely dependent on public transportation, such a society would struggle to rebel against a hostile government far more than one that's car dependent, the state in this case could far easierly shutdown mass gathering of people or atleast slow it down.
Tho a society where people don't need cars would mean things are inherently closer together, like the capitol building, people could en mass and organize far faster against a hostile government, simply by the reduced proximity to it.
The problem is with people outside the capital, most people will generally live outside this one city, if the institutions that uphold a hostile state would only change if the government changes and that government ensures that people cannot organize en mass or even reach the capital...
There's no real point to this, stuff goes on all the time in my head, even when i'm not paying attention to it.
Took longer to write this out than to process it, now i've lost interest in the subject.
@Onidotmoe idk, my view is cars have to go asap because the planet is going to die
if the planet dies, we all die, and it's getting really bad
hostile gvts suck but I don't think trains will ultimately have any impact as there are plenty of hostile gvts that have next to nothing by way of public transit, ie Afghanistan
