You do not start your gaming computer for 12 or 14 days and you come back to terabytes of updates... And all launchers try to download their shit at the same time; Nvidia, GOG, Epic, Steam, EA, Blizzard, Ubisoft, Microsoft Store and of course Windows updates. This might take a while…

@matthiasott My sites are currently a bit outdated and/or under construction 🚧 but the idea was supposed to be:

friedrich.uk - landing page
jason.friedrich.uk - small personal micro site (offline)
work.friedrich.uk - online CV (offline)
jason.re - personal blog

I am not really happy with it, but the combination of my very common English first name and my very common German last name, makes it very hard to find a good domain name. It's either too long and convoluted or already taken.

I wanted the blog to be separate and more personal, on a first name basis. Might have been a stupid idea, idk. jason.blog would have been great but the premium price is just 🤯.

I need to find the energy to update and fix the sites eventually.

@revengeday Was zur Hölle? Was erzählen die denn da? Das wird vom Bund bezahlt und ist eine Kassenleistung. Das kann jeder Arzt ordern, der Bund hat sogar noch alte Bestände:

Having said that, I wish I could say that I love Starfield, but I don't. Objectively speaking, it's a great game, but it weirdly clings to some of the worse aspects of earlier Bethesda games (come on, that crafting...) while sort of dropping the ball with its new systems (space combat, and thus ship crafting, are largely irrelevant.)

@voxpelli @hmans I liked Outer Worlds and all it's DLC. Even though it had its shortcomings. Need to check out the second one. If I should recommend one game, I'd recommend Baldurs Gate 3. With two big patches out and more patches and QOL features coming, it is the far more interesting and better game for me.
