jlow,

Nice, stealing from multinational conglomerates is never morally wrong and should always be encouraged.

How to use ProtonMail in my Android phone without letting Google know about my Proton account?

I have been slowly degoogling my life by reducing my use of Google apps and switching to FOSS alternatives. I recently created a Proton account and tried to keep it completely isolated from my default Google account so as to not let it know what my Proton mail identity is. I have finished my transition in my desktop to the best...

jlow,

Doesn’t even vanilla AOSP or what it’s called still phone home to Google for time, internet-check, cage-checks etc? I think you’d need Graphene (only available on Google hardware (Pixel) 👌) or another custom ROM (or do a lot of firewalling on vanilla / Lineage etc) to really be free of Google (if that’s even possible).

jlow,

It’s a weird way to write “image” …

jlow,

Yeah, try krita.org

Not sure what you want to do but for me Krita is (almost) perfect (filter layers are a bit painful).

jlow,

O no, Pluto is considered a “planet” in Starfield? 🙄

jlow,

Wow, we did that as far back as 1.4 million years ago? I saw a documentary recently where they found rounded stones on Orkney made by stone(?) age people. Seems to be long tradition ^__^

jlow,

Yeah, totally. It might just be that people are bored and spheres are pretty nice to touch so they make them sometimes. Or something ^__^

jlow,

Wow aside from bland male anime protag this looks amazing! Didn’t think I’d be hyped for a Ghibli movie again, so cool!

jlow,

Oohh, that looks cool, thanks for sharing!

jlow,

“Or 0,001% of my daily pay but obviously I’m not paying for it …”

Cass - Rita Angus (1936) oil on canvas on board (christchurchartgallery.org.nz)

From Christchurch gallery site - “This work by Rita Angus has come to symbolise the hard-edged clarity of the Canterbury school of landscape painting. It was made following the artist’s ten-day visit to the remote high country railway settlement of Cass in 1936 with painters Louise Henderson and Julia Scarvell. The...

jlow,

I’m surprised it plays .isos at all, that’s pretty cool. I thought you’d have to rip it and then put special features you want to have into an Extras folder.

Edit: welp, other comment thinks this as well so it seems the way to go (but lots of work, obviously).

jlow,

Welp, the new scripts have a lot of stuff I’m not sure I want …

jlow,

I’m using somthing that is called Amtb:

github.com/RandomNinjaAtk/docker-amtd

But the person switched to forking(?) Radarr with this feature build-in (I’m not sure I want that since if they stop updating that I’d need to go back to vanilla Radarr) and so isn’t working on this anymore.

Amtb still works fine for me, though.

Wait the Radarr for is deprecated as well and there are new scripts:

github.com/RandomNinjaAtk/arr-scripts

Gonna check that out, cool!

jlow,

Yeah, not in the city I live, here they’re still sealing huge chunks of the city with good olde conrete and stones (in current infrastructure projects), no tree in sight in. (Not) Good for floods and heat! 👌

jlow,

Cool perspective. Also, being a cat and do person they get the best of both worlds ✨

jlow,

For those who don’t know: Kavita is a reader server, mostly for comics and manga, seems like they’ve also inplemented .epub support since I last tried it, which is super cool. There’s also extra features via subscription to support development it seems, nice.

jlow,

Can I get sound support for the speakers of my 2023 Razer laptop speakers as well? +__+
