@DiegoBeghin Yes, this is going to be tough - physically too. However if things are really totally broken then there's not much I can do to fix them. But I am sure there’ll be a half dozen places where some simple changes would work.

@IngaLovinde I think the mainline Fulda - Hanau might still be closed for works? And the last time I got sent via Aschaffenburg the timetable was so generous we were early - could that be happening to you?

@IngaLovinde All the tracks are compatible, yes, but there I think only 2 tracks between Aschaffenburg and Hanau, and only between Hanau and Frankfurt is S-Bahn traffic separate.

@nordkommission Rentner fahren eBikes. Junge Menschen fahren eRoller. Also ein eBike Verbot in Zügen ist daher unwahrscheinlich!

@lewd @nordkommission Jein. Soweit ich weiß, müssen auch eRoller-Akkus den Vorschriften entsprechen, aber viele von ihnen tun das nicht, während die Fälle, in denen sie nicht den Vorschriften entsprechen, bei eBikes seltener sind.

Aber ich finde das Ganze dumm - wenn dein Problem unsichere Akkus sind, solltest du dich damit befassen und nicht in einer reflexartigen Reaktion das Mitführen von eRollern in Bussen verbieten.

@lewd @nordkommission Obwohl mein Punkt über die Rentner ernst ist. Die eRoller und die Art von Menschen, die sie benutzen, haben etwas Leichtfertiges an sich, sodass ein Verbot keine politischen Kosten verursacht. Verbietet man eBikes, sind plötzlich reichere Menschen, die CDU wählen, betroffen.

For the first time since 1992 (when I was 12) I’m completely disinterested by the UK General Election.

Sunak and the Tories will lose, Labour in uninspiring, the Lib Dems weedy, Greens weak and SNP weakened, and Reform simply grim. And Brexit is the elephant none of them will touch.

As I’m still a UK citizen I will vote, but it’s with less determination than ever before.
