the idea that sexual orientation is "fixed" from a young age but that gender identity isn't is pure wishcasting. @Bwee so like many ppl, I use "trans people" in an umbrella manner that is inclusive of nonbinary ppl. I felt like (especially during the gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation section) I made it clear that there were experiences/inclinations between canonical male & female, cis & trans ones. plus I discussed gender identity as a holistic way of making sense of our bodies, self-understandings, & desires that may involve shifts over time and/or embracing identities that may not...

@Bwee ...have existed in the recent past. in Whipping Girl, I talk about the several year period I identified as bigender and genderqueer (nonbinary identities that were more common in the 1990s & 00s). I'm sorry if this particular video doesn't explicitly mention nonbinary identities enough, but I definitely intended it to be nonbinary-inclusive
