I was wondering, with all the different Lemmy clients and frontends, what/which out of these do people actually use? To answer this, I made a poll if anyone wants to fill it out, and I tried to put every client I could find.
I was watching a video on landscape mode on my phone on YouTube. And then when a wild midroll ad appears, the ad thinks it’s a good idea to play a ultrawide-screen video inside a TikTok style vertical phone window, and then puts that in a widescreen video. The whole thing also got smaller to display the CTA at the right....
I know i get Downvotes all the way, but just pay for YouTube Premium. I do it a while now and me and my wife use YouTube Music for Music Streaming (wich i like more than Spotify). NewPipe is no Solution for me, cause i watch YouTube on my TV and listen Music on my Smart Speaker.
I don’t want to get too political in shower thoughts, but this would solve a lot of the hot button issues if more people just had safer and supportive environments to escape to and volunteers / paid professionals to help them on the other end.
Maybe Theaters should make it possible to hear the Film over Bluetooth Headphones. So you can enjoy the Big Screen and use your Noise Canceling Earphone.

I hear Podcast mainly at work. I have a no brain, just work job, so i can hear about 3 Podcast on one Shift. I loved Antennapod, but 2 of my favorite Podcasts are Spotify Exclusives, so i switched to Spotify, wich i only use for Podcast. My Music Streaming App is YouTube Music, because i am YouTube Premium User. I simply hate Adds!

I felt the same way, a therapist couldn’t help me either, since I was just looking at the world realistically… It helped me to consume less news and to concentrate on my immediate environment, where I actually mean my actions can change something. For me it’s mainly family, but of course it can also be a hobby or voluntary work, for example.
