A gentle stroll down the Royal Mile, meeting at 1.30 p.m. Johnstone Terrace, ending with a rally, speakers, and music outside our Parliament. Weather forecast is fine! The Yes Blairgowrie crew did a terrific job of making the most of the #GrandFondo event as it passed through the toun. Almost 50 wee Saltires were handed out to the bairns in the crowd and international TV took shots of our Scotland in Europe flags as the racers sped by.

We got a very good response from the crowd. Some cyclists gave the thumbs up and a couple shouted 'Scotland!' as they whizzed on. A great atmosphere. Well worth turning out for!

I'm trying out Threads seeing as Musk's mission to destroy Twitter seems almost complete. It's far from ideal, handing control of another platform to another billionaire with dodgy ethics.

Mastodon, which seems more community based, is pretty empty...
