My current personal project is creating a shared world for my 3D art… a planet called #Panauva. A “biodieselpunk” setting covered with lots of shallow ocean, islands, airships, passenger liners, propeller planes, and alternative energy, with an early 20th century vibe!

@freehours9 These bugs just wanna be included I guess! I eventually coughed up the gnat but my throat was sore for an hour or two after. Just the other day I was doing a zoom preso and I had a spider descend on a thread right in front of my face... luckily I was able to keep my cool 😂

I’ve long had a vinyl record collection that I haven’t played music from because I could never find a player I liked. I bought this Audio-Technica Sound Burger because I love how compact it is! I don’t need to dedicate the top surface of a piece of furniture to just a record player. Plus it just looks cool!

@vees I once experienced a Baltimore police chopper hovering over my neighborhood apparently just so they could use their megaphone to tell kids to get out of the public pool

@alexandra I punched a tiny hole in a piece of card using a really tiny hole-punch that I had squirreled away in a junk drawer. I'm glad I had it because the smaller the hole the sharper the image!

I made a called Astrograph. It's inspired by the typography on ship hulls and by fonts like Microgramma and Eurostile! Check it out and be sure to grab a copy if you plan on christening any starships any time soon.

Forget April Fools, this font is the real deal.

Absolutely horrible to wake up to the news of the Francis Key Scott Bridge collapsing from what looks like a faulty cargo boat. We are safe, we live north of all that, but absolutely devastating for the people on that bridge when it happened.

Something similar happened in my home town of Tampa in the 80s. Horrible and so scary.

The likely loss of lives in this collapse is nightmare enough, full stop. This is a horrible tragedy. has also lost a symbol of the city. Our harbor and port are now cut off from the Bay. Traffic is going to be disrupted beyond belief. This is a terrible blow straight to the heart of our city. Everyone just seems to be in a state of shock and disbelief right now.

While I'm kinda happy 's purchase of didn't go through (I like that there's some competition) I do think there's an opportunity for Adobe to build a Figma-like application that leans more heavily towards graphic design and less toward web/digital product design. Give us Illustrator-class vector tools, better PDF exporting, awareness of inks, etc.

@andycarolan Xd was targeted at that digital product design market though, right? Honestly I didn't use it very much because it felt like an inferior version of Sketch, so maybe I'm unaware of what else it could do.

Wow, Synology Drive does a really great job of replicating the Dropbox experience, I'm impressed! I wish I'd invested in a NAS sooner.

@john It looks like yes, you can! I'm able to generate public links with privacy settings, password protection, and expiration. The URLs are kinda long, though.
