I'm back on iOS for a bit. My #fairphone USB port broke and I can't charge it (Qi would be nice now). On the other hand, I ordered a replacement for the charging port for 15EUR that arrives next week and takes 5min to replace myself.

As the Lego parents have expired and, as far as I understand, Lego clones are fully legal to make nowadays, I wanted to see how they are in quality compared.

There's a dedicated Lego clone store in Munich so popped by to get one of these.

From a moral perspective, I'm undecided. I have gotten so much enjoyment out of the real Legos throughout my life that somehow buying clones feels wrong.

What do you folks think? Clones yes / no?

Zoom must be the worst of the meeting softwares around. Every time there is an update when I try to join... also, I opened the zoom app earlier today to make sure it works and no update needed but it seems it only checks once trying to join. sigh.

Android Fragmentation was something, often badly informed, tech blogs loved to write about in the early days of the OS. It was never a real issue there.

Now, real fragmentation issues are threatening the automotive Android. Building viable app ecosystems on fragmented platform will be near impossible. The game is not lost but action is needed.
