"Microsoft Paint is getting new image generation powers with a new tool called Cocreator. [...] Cocreator can generate images based on text prompts as well as your own doodles in the Paint app."
The way tech companies push "AI", I don't know. I was hoping this is just another tech hype that I can wait out, like with Bitcoin and Metaverse, but there just seems no end in sight this time.
@stefan
I was in the same mindset for quite some time as well. While there's definitely a bubble and over-hype I'm starting to think that there's actually something useful in certain areas. We definitely need to sort out the morality of using other people's work to train these models but I think this might not be only an empty bubble this time.. maybe..
Dear friends, mute this thread if you'd prefer not to be bombarded by my sporting holiday stuff. I'll add all of it to this one so it's easier to opt out.
I will never grow tired of evenings in the mountains.
I come from a country that has one mountain, and that's 1000 km from where I lived. Mountains keep on blowing my mind.
(That's not to say that Finland's nature isn't beautiful, it absolutely is)
Glad to see Samsung is not only still shipping tons of corporate bloatware, but helpfully grouping it by corporation. How are these the best-selling phones??
Trying to find a way to setup a non-work mode on my phone. Effectively just to turn off mail and slack notifications automatically after a certain time.
Turns out it's not very easy to do so. At least I can't figure out how. Focus mode kind of works but there's no way to turn it on weekends automatically. It also disables the whole app instead of notifications, which is not optimal.
Feels quite likely that this car will be the one replacing my Polestar 2 once the lease runs out.
One thing I've learned while driving the PS2, is that EVs really do not need much power. I'd definitely would not be buying the dual motor version of the EX30. Single motor is plenty. EVs make acceleration figures completely irrelevant.
