Pixelfed provides a photo/video focused experience, and offers more features geared towards this (filters, collections, portfolios) than Mastodon does

You can use Mastodon or other platforms to share photos

When content is based around photos/videos, it's a much different experience

    @atomicpoet to his kind of posts almost always fail to answer the question "who pays for all this that should have done?".

    The best bet for a flexible, digital (QR code) seems to be mo.pla https://www.mopla.solutions/

    ✔️ Credit Card or SEPA payment
    ✔️ Web App can be used even by those without a German address
    ✔️ “Pause” function if you don’t need ticket one month

    (Note: the tech of eezy.nrw is better but this works only in Nordrhein Westfalen. For a Germany-wide Deutschlandticket go for mo.pla)

    @jon it's interesting that there's differences between different resellers. They all seem to advertise heavily indicating that they get a significant cut from sales.
    I went with the MVG due to the app o use anyway and ready login (M-login) but was disappointed that the purchase isn't actually part of the app but redirect to a website, although the ticket is supposed to appear in the app but I need to add it every month manually.

    New law proposal: If you use "AI" and do not add a disclaimer to the work produced (something like "This text/picture/soundfile/video was created partly/mostly/completely by using "AI" tools) before sharing/sending/publishing the result, that should be treated as subterfuge/deceit and punished with a high fine at the very least.

    @jwildeboer where would you draw the line? Is magic wand selector in PS AI enough? What about magic eraser in Google photos?

    I feel that it's not super easy to find what is AI at this point anymore. Or what do you think?
