Ah trop bien #Fairphone qui vante la répétabilité et la facilité de changement de pièces sur plein d'années : l'APN principal de mon FP3 (2019) ne fonctionne plus. Je présuppose un problème matériel. Les pièces ne sont déjà plus produites. 😒
Me reste plus qu'à redémonter l'appareil et revérifier si tout est bien connecté.

Je loue mon FP4 chez @commownfr . Un des intérêts est que de part leur modèle de fonctionnement ils se constituent leur propre stock de pièces au fil des réparations et résiliations. #fairphone#commown#réparabilité

So, after 3 years & 7 month I finally ordered a new phone.
I never had a phone before which lasted so long, normally after 1 or latest 2y something was broken & repairing was more expensive then buying (another cheap one).
So, my last phone was a fairphone (3+).
I broke once the camera and the display. And was super easily to repair it myself. I love the modularity! I really wish, the other constructor will follow the modular way too!
@arstechnica I thought that my next laptop at some point would be #Framework. I don’t think so now tbh - same issues as with #Fairphone. But yes, I hope both will sort it all out and set a good example for the rest of the technological community, because the ideas and intentions are really good.
I just got the #Fairphone 5 and it's great and everything... but where can I locally store the pictures that I take? There is no folder whatsoever, just #googlephotos .... Good enough for me that I have #protondrive but it's not really optimal.
I'm back on iOS for a bit. My #fairphone USB port broke and I can't charge it (Qi would be nice now). On the other hand, I ordered a replacement for the charging port for 15EUR that arrives next week and takes 5min to replace myself.
