@brododaktylos @AimeeMaroux Oh, I didn't know that bit about garden gnomes! Very cool. :) (I have a degree in Classics so I did actually know about these charms, was just making a very silly and unoriginal joke/movie reference, in case that wasn't obvious 😅)

carm_kuryakin, to random Spanish

Me, every time I forget how to conjugate an irregular verb in english: why the hell can't we just add -d -ed at the end of the verbs? It would be easier that way.

Also me, after remembering what my mother tongue is: stares into the void in spanish ok, olvídalo, nevermind

@carm_kuryakin Haha yeah and at the same time, every language also has its own weird little irregularities that aren't logical at all 😄 Tbh I was mostly thinking about pronunciation though! I found Spanish pretty easy in that regard, but English is just wild! You never really know how a word's going to be pronounced until you hear it!
