I just finished setting up Linux Mint for an old buddy of mine on his old dog of a laptop, rendering it useful once again! (i.imgur.com)

Edit 2: to everyone suggesting an SDD: i know. Look, if this guy had enough $$$ for an SSD, he could buy a used lappy less than half the age of this one that has an ssd and 2-3x the memory....

This was basically my first laptop. Thanks for this reminder

Fortunately, I did not have that happen before it met the wrath of 8oz of ice cold water

This is also how it is in America, but a lot of people get pissy with you for “stopping” in the sidewalk even in the right turn lane (I assume left for y’all)

The Candle Cove story had a slightly different version called the Bubbles and Gurgles show or something like that. Always did feel like I truly experienced that

Could just ask her for a Dropbox lol. But I would try a good bit of things, downloader extensions, screen cap, etc. there may be a link embedded somewhere you can download.

Lumberyard is technically an offshoot of cryengine but they moved off cryengine years ago

LibreSSL is the fucking bane of my existence at work. So many issues caused by the keys it spits out vs others.

Probably so, but Apple is the only one I’ve encountered actually using it. The whole point is it’s supposed to be backwards compatible and it’s just not

I refuse to believe they don’t have invite threads, but you can invite me to make sure ;) lol

Not an android user or anything, but I would assume there are apps to disable charging the battery. Or apps to allow you to use a phone without the battery.

If you can disable charging then I’d discharge to 20% or so then disable charging and connect it. 20% should be a fairly safe storage capacity for the battery. Maybe 30-40 to be on a bit safer side.

Then you could just go through a battery cycle once a month or so to ensure different cells get used. I’m sure you could figure out an automation for that mr tester man.

God how I wish this would happen with modern resolution.

Check out The Messenger if you haven’t!

Asus sells these cards, but the motherboard needs to support 4 way bifurcation. Most only support two way. There’s definitely double nvme cards that have a wider compatibility
