  • #FedBOX - a generic ActivityPub service supporting the client to server API.

  • #brutalinks - a link aggregator inspired by (old) reddit, hacker news and lobste.rs built on top of FedBOX.

  • #oni - a single user ActivityPub server with minimal fuss.

@marxistvegan yes, but it's not really a "notification". It's like you receive a copy of the post itself.

    @evan if I can toot my own horn, there's the https://federated.id server that speaks ActivityPub client to server. It's a reference implementation of the libraries for Go that I'm developing at https://github.com/go-ap

    @evan thanx. However the only web-frontend for it at the moment is a link aggregator that you can find at https://brutalinks.tech - it's a beta/demo instance, so nothing much happening there.

    Today I rode my bike to work for the first time in two years. Was not so bad. Only a bit cold on ears and fingers.

    Soon I'll be looking for a few back ways so I don't have to ride on the main road. That's just noisy, dangerous and stinky. There are certainly nicer roads.

    @thomas first thing I would invest in, is a pair of full fingered bike gloves for spring/fall. There's nothing I hate more than riding with cold hands.

    Seeing @helge 's comment about Dunbar's number and "Following" counts, I thought that in social networks it definitely does not apply.

    I then did some back of the napkin math to come up with a better one for representing the size of an active/healthy social network community. The end result was:
