It’s rare that I play games in the year of their release, but I’m making an exception for Prince of Persia: the Lost Crown, as I bought it on day 1 and only just getting round to starting it.
Found it tough going at the start (I’ve never been good at parry timing in games), but slowly working my way through. Switched the dialogue audio to Farsi for a more authentic experience.
Finished What Remains of Edith Finch on the Steam Deck over the last couple of nights. A short walking sim/light puzzle game where the protagonist attempts to unravel a mystery about why everyone in her extended family has died.
Quite poignant and eerie, I enjoyed it a lot! #ShareYourGames
@matt it was the first game I played when I got the PS5, because it was a little different from the PS4 version and I had enjoyed that a lot. 😊
I really liked this game.
Finally finished BioShock tonight after 17 years and two previous failed attempts!
Finally clicked as I played it more like an immersive sim than a straight FPS, and while it has some flaws (endless pipe mania, basically a corridor shooter and slightly awkward combat), the visual design, plasmids and tonics elevated it into something more than the sum of its parts. #ShareYourGames
There are not many better moments in gaming than hypnotising a big daddy and pitting it against another one, then when one has prevailed finishing it off and taking all the goodies. Or carefully hacking all turrets and cameras in an earlier area and luring splicers into the Death Zone™️
I managed to save all the Little Sisters too. :ablobcatheart:
I suppose it means BioShock 2 at some point I guess, but I hear it’s not quite as good.

As far as I’m aware, they are universal and coupled to your psn account.
I actually bought a couple to buy digital PS2 games on the US PS3 shop as several games never came out in Europe. Grandia 3 for example.
This was like 2 months ago.
Here’s the latest addition to my collection: a red super-slim PS3! It’s got a sliding mechanism for the disc tray, which I think is very cute. :ablobcatheart: #ShareYourGames
Bounced off it hard during the 360 era but I’m rinsing through Alan Wake Remastered this weekend! Completed one episode last night and two more today. After some frustrating encounters early on when I didn’t understand the mechanics very well, I’ve been gripped since then! #ShareYourGames
It’s taken since last July because I don’t often get the #PS5 to myself, but I finally finished #FinalFantasyVIIRemake and INTERmission! I loved most of it except a couple of the late-game bosses. Looking forward to playing CC Reunion next. #ShareYourGames
I am absolutely thrilled with this haul! I had a black #GameCube when they were current, but was always envious of those with the indigo version. Got a high quality RGB SCART cable on its way too. Can’t wait to try it out!
I’ve created a music-focused alt: @matteblack — feel free to follow me there. I’ll post about metal but also a lot of other adjacent and semi-adjacent genres too (entirely likely anything tbh).
I’ll probably start sharing some of my own music too but don’t let that put you off! #Music#Metal#Guitars
My wife bought me the Taito Edition Super Pocket for my birthday and it’s a lovely little handheld. It has 17 pre-installed games and takes Evercade cartridges.
It literally fits in my pocket and will be great for travelling when I don’t have room for a giant modern handheld! #ShareYourGames
