Dear #PHP community! Could someone with power please raise an RFC to make the strict parameter of the in_array() built-in function true by default? It's really annoying to remember putting true as the third parameter every time, and not doing it might potentially lead to weird bugs. Thanks!

Also, on Ireland at #Eurovision. If your one and only argument is that they represent non-binary people hence should be voted for, then have a big NO for me. If your reasoning for voting is to support non-binary people (which is totally your right I understand and appreciate), better vote for Switzerland. That's how non-binary people are represented, with a great song and good and spectacular performance.
Just had a little discussion on YouTube where a guy tried to convince me that the Ireland… performance on #Eurovision is a song. When I asked him whether he thinks that a song should be, well, sung, he replied that it is and sung very well. Well… well. I don't understand people's vision of music these days.
My favorites in the first semifinal are: #Croatia, #Finland (NO RULES!!), #Ukraine, #Luxembourg (thank you for that earworm!), #Moldova and #Australia (bits in the Yankunytjatjara language are very much appreciated, spread and keep your culture!). #Eurovision
@menelion Было время до футбола и почитал про навахо. Да уж, действительно охренеть, про что-то похожее я читал раньше. Вообще сложилось ощущение, что такие редкие языки везде очень своеобразные. Мне клинеры с Филиппин рассказывали чуть про свои локальные языки, там тоже приколов хватает.
@Yinshi Да, они много где эпичные. Например, у бушменов Калахари есть прекрасный язык къхонг. Первый звук названия — это такой щелчок, как изображают пробку от бутылки, потом резкий «х», как в кавказских или нидерландском, а потом «о носовой». В этом великолепном языке что-то около ста шестидесяти фонем, из которых 83 только щёлкающих согласных, а среди гласных есть обычные, носовые, шепчущие (murmured) и придыхательные (breathy-voiced). И это только фонетика. Я в своё время дооолго охреневал.
Dear fediverse, what is an adequate freeware (even better, if #openSource) replacement for #Adobe#Photoshop for #Windows? Current needs: take a painting made by hand, make it a vector graphics image and do some other stuff with it. Sorry for being so vague, I'm totally blind, it's for my wife who is not on fediverse (yet). Thank you so much! #Help
Re about the #iOS bug, thanks @pitermach. It affects only multilingual people who have different apps in different languages. I'll boost Piotr's reply next.
Dear blind #iOS users! Please note: in latest iOS betas there is an extremely nasty bug where several apps turn your phone into totally unusable state. You cannot reload VoiceOver, you cannot do anything at all besides restarting the phone. Be super mega careful! I know so far one German app (very important, it's PhotoTan app from #DeutscheBank which basically is needed for authorization of every significant bank operation), and one Russian app. I even don't know what to suggest if you have no sighted help and no spare device where you can run BeMyEyes or so. Anyway, if you encounter such an app, do the volume up — volume down — side button dance to force restart, I have no other idea. Again, be super careful! I'd like to CC @JonathanMosen because it might need to be spread for a wider audience, and @lynnskyi because I know you use only your phone, so again, be extremely careful, you'll never know what app will cause it to behave like this. @menelion@JonathanMosen@lynnskyi This seems to happen when an app declares a specific language, especially if your phone is in a different one. A workaround that doesn't involve a restart is before you go into the app, set your VO language rotor to the language the app is in (So for a german banking app set it to German), and it has to be the specific language and not just the "default language" option. Afaik it was reported by multiple people to Apple so hopefully won't be in 17.5 final.
