If we have a UX deficit here, the situation is even worse when it comes to naming things. Fediverse, instance, Phanpy, CalcKey - these are all awful names for good things. I don't know what the solution is. Don't have a good impression of professional "naming consultants" to put it mildly.

Is there a way to limit searches to the universe of posts that were searchable before? I see "from:" finally works again but what about limiting to posts I've faved or bookmarked, or replied to me? EDIT: apparently so! Just add in:library to the search. (Things you miss when you don't use the web ui…)

I was born a nerd and fully own my geriatric millennialhood. I love dad jokes, and I embrace cringe. You are my people. Having said all that, I feel like people here are blissfully unaware of coolness as a concept. If we want more groups of people to come here, I think that's worth discussing. Along with other "soft" things like culture, aesthetics, tone.
