Was Beau De Mayo fired because Disney realized they could never make an live action movie--or any Marvel movie for that matter--that's better than this season of ? Kidding of course. But the point is this little animated series supposed to be just a fun nostalgia trip is putting the entire MCU to shame.

@faticake Everything's perfect again: the dialogue, the drama, action, animation, fan service--I could feel the love for these characters and what they represent. What. A. Show. And that cliffhanger 😫

@faticake I don't even know how they're going to top the last 3 episodes. The bar is now set so high. It's going to be a painful wait for the next season for sure. I hope we get more episodes per season, so we can get more character study episodes.

@luthien1126 Di ko alam kung nasanay nalang ako but I'm able to walk outside now without feeling like I'm going to pass out. It's still extremely hot but I feel like the humidity is getting a little bit better.

When I was a kid, was my least favorite for obvious reasons. He was bossy, clean-cut, and frankly had a boring superpower. But now I'm older, he's turned into my favorite. Cyclops is literally the guy who just wants to keep things together amid all the chaos. Dude just wants to have a family and a normal nine-to-five job without the kids getting in trouble while current events blow up all around him. And I like that his superpower is boring, as boring as "clocking in."

is the only show I'm watching, animated or not, where I'm literally trying to catch my breath the last 10 minutes or so. The original back in the '90s was a quality animated series for sure, but this revival is a totally different beast. Every episode is flat out inspired writing, directing, and animating. This is Emmy Awards stuff. Not even exaggerating. I'd be bummed out if people don't start these discussions, as wild as that sounds.

I'm well past joking about the extremely hot weather in the . I'm literally in survival mode. We almost never leave our airconditioned room (electricity bill be damned) because it's impossible to spend more than a few minutes outside. Sometimes I even find it hard to breathe in the hot air heavy with humidity. I don't know why this isn't a national emergency.

@faticake I think it got even worse when K-pop became big. Of course, that's not the fault of K-pop itself. But I feel like Filipinos wanted fair skin before because they wanted to look more like mestizas/mestizos. But now they want to look more like Koreans. Who are probably even whiter in the skin department.

Do extroverts ever like, in their peak extrovertedness, maybe at a raucous party, pause for a few seconds and think, "This is absolutely perfect. This is bliss. But this ain't how life is supposed to be lived?" Because as an that is exactly what I find myself thinking sometimes when I'm perfectly isolated watching a movie and filling the empty room with the echoes of my own laughter while munching on potato chips.

@luthien1126 Absolutely hate it. I practically begged the wedding coordinator for us not to have one, but by now it's become more tradition than anything. I thought of the most subtle one, the least cringey, and used that for our wedding.
