Kingdom Rush

I think it was during the ShopTalk with Blake Watson where "tower defense" games briefly came up and someone recommended Kingdom Rush. It's not exactly new, coming out in 2011, but it was new to me. I played on iOS. It feels like the total classic of tower defense games. Monsters come at you, you build towers to stop them. There are different types of towers, and your success comes from the right combinations, upgrades, and placement.

@chriscoyier I finished all episodes of the Kingdom Rush saga on my iPhone, and most on my iPad too. They’re awesome. 😍

I didn’t find any other Tower Defense game that could match them.

what do y’all use for taking notes on mac + ios? i’ve been through notes, simplenote, ai writer, obsidian, notion and none worked out for me. either too complex or too simple.

i love markdown, but i don't want to write in any specific syntax — it slows down jotting down stuff. also, lots of apps are janky.

@bignose even with POSSE, it's common practice to share social accounts to other people, for example in talk slides as Manuel does.

But Gandi tells me the .social TLD costs 60 € a year!

I guess I'll use a social. sub-domain instead… 😅

I have to build a blogroll for my own site, such an RSS/Atom aggregator is a great idea.

But I won't merge it with my own list of links/bookmarks, which is more “curated”.
