If any of the first 2 owners want to get rid of theirs’ cheaply, I’d be happy to take it and rip the batteries and drivetrain out for making cool cars EVs.
They’d be willing to pretend if they had to, but now there’s no need.
Unless a super majority were to get elected to congress, that could either impeach them or at least pass laws governing their emoluments and conflicts of interest.
I agree about trailers, but one full of sand will weigh too much for most American SUVs/CUVs let alone sedans.
I’m pretty sure cars and non trucks are vastly underrated for towing in the US though, since the same cars in Europe often have 50%+ towing capacities. The excuse is always that our highway speeds are higher, but I suspect maintaining high truck sales has more to do with it.
Also writing backwards, or upside down isn’t that hard with a little practice, especially if you’re decent at drawing.
My wife couldn’t believe how fast I could write backwards on a window, when she first saw it. But I’m also a slightly dyslexic, lefty, who can write backwards with my right hand and has a bachelor of fine art in design…
No, their “news” outlets just don’t cover it. They keep busy with fear lingering about anti-woke, cancel cultures, and Chinese immigrants in the Darian gap.
In a collaborative effort, Apple and Google have developed an industry-standard detection feature called “Detecting Unwanted Location Trackers” (DULT) for Bluetooth trackers. This is why is assumed they mark them to overwrite. Google knows a lot about what makes drives last longer, and OS and drive firmware makers have known for decades too.
Entrepreneurial ego plays a part I think. Unless they already found 60 people that want them for this price.
Developing an agile enough process and factory to make things like this might be an interesting business model. Probably way Too low profit to attract investors though.
It goes back before that, when Boothe killed Lincoln and reconstruction failed and we let the south keep southing it got fucked.
Nixon recognized it and used it to get elected, and Reagan got the economy fucking us, and Bush 2 profited from starting wars on surpluses from the previous administration. Then trump wasted Obama’s hard work on the economy with tax cuts and shit handling of a pandemic.
I miss my free cable and Wi-Fi in my first Boston apartment. I didn’t discover it worked until 2 months into living there (just after 9/11 actually). It went month to month when the owners sold the place and we wouldn’t have ever left if it weren’t for the shitty icebox and terrible parking in that neighborhood.
Your parents are billionaire oligarchs who rely on the status quo for cheap labor by forcing ridiculous work schedules, ever increasing rents, and record profits for basic necessities?
Low-speed, electrified, increasingly autonomous vehicles are going to be the norm, not the outlier. Standardized roro boxes and cargo trikes are part of it.
I’ll be surprised if TVs get much larger. We’re already have Modular wall displays if you want a theater at home, though most still use projectors in that situation.
The problem is that most homes don’t have a big enough room for a TV wider than 60 inches or so.
