I was using a different name for my band for YouTube videos and then I searched and found it was the name of a band in the northeast.

So I selected this name, checking if it was being used and checking if it existed on the map.

I’ve had notice outside of the US and brave announcers in other countries have not translated the pomegranate part.

Probably better for them, I think, as I read this Hacker News headline “Man arrested after confusing Portuguese words for 'pomegranate' and 'grenade'.”

An acquaintance who is the second most connected person I know was quoting favorably a Steve Lukather opinion piece on how the economics of Music are tough. I was commenting on the validity of points and I mentioned supply and demand. She said he mentioned that and “some of these bands are bad”.

Well, I guess if some are bad, the rest are good.

And as I listen to programs that include us, I’m not hearing bad music. Does Mr. Lukather truly explore the backroads where we Indies are found?

Started work on my year-end compilation of PCI singles for 2023. Two albums with one for A-sides and one for B-sides. Ready for this? I had forgotten what the February single was. The A-side was “Tumbling to Temptation” which goes back to my band in the 1980s. So I stream it and the streamer follows it with a folk song from an artist named Lillian Anderson. It’s good. I find the album and listen to other tracks. 1/

#BandCampFriday yes, but meanwhile it’s also #NewRelease day for us. You may have noticed that we releasing tracks which are part of a July album. Nonplussed alert. The new single has tracks that are not on the album. The B-side almost made it, but was cut for time.

Two fun tracks about extraordinary (and fictional) people. The A-side jangles and the B-side imitates a 60 year ago Dylan intro and even older Bob Wills interjections.

So here’s what happened. Someone supposed that the Supreme Court would have to listen to Trump’s theories as to the election being stolen. I disagreed politely because juries try fact. Sarcastically he yells genius and says there’s no jury at the Supreme Court and blocks me.

We all should know, I assume, the jury is at the trial court. The appeals do not address the facts, but the application of law and trial fairness. Well, I don’t really suppose we’ll miss out for the block.
