Or you could use ssh or a vpn

possiblylinux127,

I’m aware that tailscale is a vendor locked version of wireguard. However, that doesn’t change the fact that ssh is sometimes the easiest way to get remote access.

If you want to take the wireguard route you can either setup wireguard yourself or use something like netbird.

Why is Debian the way it is? (blog.liw.fi)

Debian is a large, complex operating system, and a huge open source project. It’s thirty years old now. To many people, some of its aspects are weird. Most such things have a good reason, but it can be hard to find out what it is. This is an attempt to answer some such questions, without being a detailed history of the...

possiblylinux127,

I use Debian everywhere. Its solid and I can forget about it for years.

Hello, I am the mod of Linux questions and free software. I just wanted to take a moment to clarify the purpose of the free software sub. Free software doesn’t have to do with price. In fact, you can sell free software for as little or as much as you like.

Free software refers to software the respects the 4 freedoms which are as follows:

  • the freedom to run the software
  • the freedom to study the source code
  • the freedom to modify the source code
  • the freedom to distribute the source code

To learn more about the free software philosophy, click here: www.gnu.org/philosophy/philosophy.html

There are some serious issues with unions. For instance sometimes workers are tricked into signing papers that allow the union to have control over the worker. I’m not condoning Amazon but to say Unions aren’t always great.

As always you should make up your own mind

possiblylinux127,

Apparently the neibours reported a strong rotting smell to the police.

possiblylinux127,

The news said it gave one of the officers a rash.

I can imagine living next to this. Apparently the smell was really bad

Blocking variations.brave.com which is used for A/B testing could potentially break Brave's functionalities. For me did Brave's "forgetful browsing" feature broke which seems to be disabled by default if you block this domain.

Its a witch hunt and now the political climate is worse. You shouldn’t be able to eliminate your competitors with a trial. If you suspect they have done something wrong it should be up to the party to decide there fate
