One more reason, why I still use Bridge with over the ProtonMail app: search. The app claims to be able to search the content, but it already struggles with the sender name. @protonprivacy

@lx Hi! Can you let us know if you've only observed this with this particular sender, or with several senders in general (even those without special characters like hyphens)?

Also, are you referring to the Proton Mail web app, desktop app, mobile app?

I'm trying out ProtonMail!

The price is super reasonable, and I'm happy to pay rather than be surveiled.

Migrating my emails from gmail and configuring my custom domain was easy.

I missed having separate sections for unread and read emails, so I wrote a tampermonkey script to add that! It's available at https://codeberg.org/danvolchek/browser-scripts 😎

Next up is importing my calendar!

@error_500 @danvolchek This case shows that Proton's encryption provides privacy by default: despite the legal request, we were not able to share any of the user's encrypted data. Due to the zero-access encryption we use, the user's emails, attachments, etc. remain inaccessible to us, so we cannot share them with third parties even if we want to.

We protect users data not by refusing to comply to legal request (no legal company can do that), but by not having access to the users' data.

Hey there, I'm looking for a hint on the usage of together with some office suite to edit files stored on the . I bumped into @CollaboraOffice which enables me to create and access the files from but when I edit the file, it doesn't save the changes. I need to create a new file and then delete the old one. Does anyone know of a better way to work with the files when using Google or MS solution for cloud stored files?

@jenik Thanks for elaborating. Android doesn't have automatic device sync at this time, so you'll have to upload your files manually. Note, however, that this should be possible with the Proton Drive Windows desktop app.
