So, fun story:

Child the Middlest, 17 full years of age and a reasonably trustworthy young adult, texts Beth and me saying, "I want to go to an all ages rave in SF with Friendo tomorrow night."

They quickly added, “Its at the dna lounge in sf and Friendo’s dad would take us [...] its a really reputable venue ... starts at 7pm, prob get there closer to 9 and leave at midnight,” closing with, “like theyre very strict on no drugs or alcohol at these”

They had no idea. We never know our parents.

@Viss @joy sounds right. Sometimes they’ll post an exercise schedule. Eglin did for major exercises — like “we’re closing the highway for an amphib assault” kinds of stuff — but didn’t list the “We’re taking some birds out for practice” level.

if im reading this correctly, the entire internet is now on that little platform at the end of the first portal game, where glados decides shes done with you and slowly lowers you into an incinerator.
