I am getting to a point where I see that I progress in my #bass practice, but progress is so slow. Not sure if I am impatient or simply reaching a limit in how much I can improve.
Things that don’t help (maybe): practicing too many techniques at once, playing songs that I don’t really like, and drilling songs again and again for an exam that I hope to take soon.
I guess this is the disadvantage of going to a music school and following their program.
@mewbassprr Every once in a while you are bound to hit a road block. I'm currently hitting one myself. Persistence will get you through this and you will come out the other side felling accomplished :)

@cjk I've seen it being used in various distributions. Skimming the documentation yielded everything I needed. Looked very mature. Ultimately it doesn't really matter to me. 🤷♂️
@petrisch I can't get the commentary function to cover all of it right now but I'm sure it'll get there. Commenting with injected languages can still be a bit tricky.
@cjk Yeah, been on my list as well. Just didn't feel the need to integrate that into my workflow just yet. But at this point the highlighting has become so atrocious that I needed to remedy it 😅
Nice! Logic 11 can do Stem Splitting now. This way I can remove the #bassguitar for tracks I'm doing a play along to. It's not perfect but already so much better than not having it. There are some subscription based services that have been doing this for a while now. Having this in my DAW without having to pay an additional service is really cool.
@thunfisch Absolutely. It's great to have that out of the box. I've tried it with a Vipassi track that features a 6 string fretless bass solo. It got confused by some of the slides which admittedly don't sound very much like a bass 😅
