8x8 Font Advent Calendar 2023 Day 4

GEOS64

The GEOS desktop UI from Berkley Systems in 1986 is an incredible feat - achieving what took the Mac a 16-bit processor and over twice the memory.

The 64's resolution required carefully designed typography and "BSW" system fonts were proportionally rendered to great effect.

Included here are bold and non-bold as well as the tiny desktop icon font as a bonus!

Habe gerade mit dem Amazon "Kundenservice" gechattet und innerhalb von Sekunden ein Problem lösen können. Ich glaube, die setzen da keine Menschen mehr für ein, sondern ein Sprachmodell. Anders kann ich mir die rasche und problemlose Lösung nicht vorstellen. Die Antworten kamen auch alle viel zu schnell und zu präzise.

🤣 So searching for 8.3 by entering that into the browsers URL field doesn't yield any results. Because my browser thinks it's an IP address and expands it to 8.0.0.3 and that f*cking server can't be bothered to return something.... 🤣

@coffeegeek I've got the Timemore Chestnut C2 since over a year now. I really love it and a good grinder mustn't be that expensive like the Comandante. I like the surface of the Timemore. I never dropped it in the time which happened with other grinders much more often.

I would definetly buy it but Lego is selling stuff much too expensive nowadays. That's crazy and the quality suffers since a while as well.

(and I assume that they wouldn't ever put some small speakers in such a set. Imagine a Hardfloor edition with some classic tracks in it starting by pressing a button or so 🙂 )
