realitista,

As someone who is circumcised and chose not to circumcise their son, I’m seeing that circumcision has a lot of benefits. My son’s foreskin has always been too tight and won’t still fully retract at 7 years old. We have to put cream on it every night. It needs a lot more thorough washing every day or else it gets discharge all over it. The care and maintenance on an uncircumcised penis is like 1000x that of a circumcised one. I never knew any difference, so I’m not sure what the downsides of having a circumcised one is.

realitista,

Pediatricians have timelines for these sort of things. And it can get infected under there.

realitista,

We see doctors regularly and are trying to manage the problem without circumcision. You may have had problems when you were a kid too and just don’t remember it, it’s fairly common.

realitista,

If you read the article, it’s not a statement with entirely no merit.

The engineers prioritized an algorithm which is far more likely to be useful in real world scenarios where you keep trying to cram a bunch of stuff in the frunk and close it (who hasn’t done this?) rather than the edge case of repeatedly testing it with vegetables until you stick your finger in it.

Anyway, I suppose it’s back to the drawing board.

realitista,

Fair point.

realitista,

Honestly it would be a more accurate portrayal of how vicious hippos actually are. I think on this one, nature is just fucking with us by making hippos look that way.

realitista,

Why would you say that the Kerch bridge is useless for now? I’d think that cutting 50% of the supply lines into occupied territory would have a massive impact no matter when you did it.

realitista,

I’m using StartAllBack and have found it to be a rather nice experience.

realitista,

I made all my accounts local only and I haven’t noticed these issues. I do still use control panel and the old user manager by default, so maybe that’s why?

I also used a special installer which allows for local only accounts out of the box and does some other changes. Maybe that’s why I’m having a better experience. This is the guide I followed. Follow the guide for Rufus.

realitista,

For me I’m happier with my computer since the XP days with these mods. It’s fast and responsive and doesn’t give me shit. It’s been only a couple months since I reinstalled it, so time will tell, but so far so good.

realitista,

It’s been a problem for years. I cannot use the standard bedtime alarm. From my experience, it seems it may be an issue if you have the “focus” change it’s state at the same time as your alarm goes off.

realitista,

Not my issue as I don’t use CarPlay regularly, but good to know.

realitista,

Isn’t the presumption here that if she is only interested in his money that she also plans to take advantage of him?

realitista,

Her intentions were as clear as his in that video as far as I could see.

realitista,

It’s worth noting that even in the best case where we hit net zero by 2050, we will still be dealing with 1.25-2 degrees of warming for centuries. We will have to go significantly negative to get back to where we started. In worse scenarios we will be dealing with 2-3 degrees of warming for centuries.

nm, to technology

  • realitista,

What exactly is the concern that they will do to us?

    realitista,

Doesn’t this have more to do with what git pulls are accepted than the status of federation though?

    realitista,

I wonder how anyone could still be in favor of this after watching Brexit unfold.

    realitista,

Actually coal plants which are in use, spew thousands of times of nuclear material into the air what any nuclear plant ever has.

    realitista,

IMO a lot of this had to do with Schroeder’s and Merkel’s connections with Russia and running the country’s manufacturing base on cheap gas and oil.

    realitista,

It’s worth noting that even counting in all the damage from Fukushima and Chernobyl and all the issues with storing nuclear waste long term (which isn’t nearly as hard as people make it out to be), Nuclear is still as safe as wind and solar energy.

Now follow the link and look at the numbers for the (mostly brown) coal that replaced it (much of who’s damage is caused by the nuclear materials in it’s ash), and the picture is pretty damn clear. Coal kills at 1000 times the rate of nuclear.

    realitista,

Unless you are an absolute monopoly, there is a point you can cross where your customers just leave.
