As is tradition, I'm behind on my shows (although not all of them, Girls Band Cry, for example). So I didn't get to start this one yet, but I did have it in the list I made in March about what I want to check out.
Anyone else find it difficult to start episodes of anime? The reason I'm always so behind is not even because of lack of time. It's just that I find it hard to start watching, and this has been a thing for a while now.
It's not that I no longer like anime, not even close, because once I do start watching an episode, I enjoy it as much as I did before (unless it's an anime I end up dropping because I dislike that specific one, but those are isolated cases). It's not the enjoyment that's gone, but rather the... energy? drive? to actually press play. I'm not sure how to describe it.
@gnitro I actually did use random.org, set from 1 up to however many anime I had with at least 1 episode to watch, for a while sometime last year. Maybe I should get back to doing that.
That's going on repeat alongside her Psycho, Drown and Boom. And her Identity with Towa if we count covers too. Bae might just be my favorite, music-wise, from HoloEN. I don't know about overall (if we include the Japanese and Indonesian branches Hololive members), but she's a contender for me, for sure.
Seeing everyone excited about Dungeon Meshi having aired its first episode really makes me want to watch it already. It's on my list on anime to try this season. Only issue is that out of all the fall anime I've started, I've only finished one (Spy x Family Season 2), and even that one I did so literally a minute ago.
I said I wanted to finish as many of the ones I already started before I dive into Winter 2024, but all the posts are making me want to start it now :akko_think2:
Alright, so I'm trying out this place over here again. I come from Urusai.social and I also tried out Sakurajima.social back when it was on Firefish still (sometime during last summer).
Not gonna import anything quite yet, as I'm not sure where I'll stay by the end of these next few days, but I will manually refollow everyone I follow there to populate my Home timeline. I realize I follow less people than I expected, especially give than I'm on the Fediverse since November 2022, so it probably won't take too long. I will also be on the lookout for more people to follow.
Short and quick (re)introduction for people who find this account without knowing me from Urusai. I'm a big anime fan that's been watching, technically, since childhood (stuff like Pokemon, for example), but I consider 2016/2017 to be the year I really started watching, as that's when I started branching into a bunch of different ones, instead of basically just watching Pokemon, Digimon and Inazuma Eleven. Currently watching a lot of anime from Fall 2023 (which I've listed on my profile), but I struggle keeping up, which is why I have yet to start anything from Winter 2024. But anyway, what I usually post is anime stuff (of course), manga stuff, games stuff, and whatever songs I'm currently obsessed with (mainly songs in Japanese).
