Wie sehr ich es liebe, dass man bei anrufen muss, um Debit-Karten für zu aktivieren. Bei Kreditkarten geht das bequem per App oder SMS.

Seit Jahren sagen sie, bald geht das dort auch, aber jedes Mal aufs Neue darf ich 10-20 Minuten in der Warteschleife hängen. Es ist so belastend und so eine Verschwendung von Ressourcen. Zeit, Personal und Energie. Nur weil sie keine Priorität auf etwas legen, was sie eigentlich bereits haben.

Ein iPhone ohne Backup einzurichten, wenn man bereits ein anderes hat, ist auf jeden Fall weit davon entfernt smooth zu sein.

iMessage synct nicht, die Apple Watch lässt sich nicht übertragen. 😅 Mal sehen, was noch so kommt.

Keines der Probleme, welche die App UX-technisch hatte wurde gelöst, aber ein ganzer Batzen neuer Probleme wurde hinzugefügt.

The first recipe has been published in DNS Kitchen’s cookbook! With a single click, you can instantly apply a set of records to your domain that are designed to protect it against email abuse (when the domain isn’t intended to be used with email). It’s so cool!

I didn’t have “start a DNS hosting service” on my 2023 bingo card, yet here I am. And I’m still not 100% sure that I’m going to be able to run this, but I really want to. So I’m giving it my best!

Say hello to https://dns.kitchen, which will (hopefully) make managing DNS a lot more fun than usual.

Edited to add: this is aiming to be an "authoritative nameserver" service for DNS hosting, not a resolver service. 🌈

@adam Whatever you do, don’t go live until after 30 days of registering your domain. Otherwise you will land on a lot of DNS block list that block „New Domains“. Just experienced that when I wanted to go to your site and got „Not found“

Bin am überlegen das nächste iPhone einfach mal von null einzurichten. Also kein Backup einspielen, sondern einfach nur mit dem iCloud-Account einloggen und dann alles manuell installieren und einzustellen. 🤔

Ich hab das Gefühl, dass es zunehmend Probleme macht, dass ich quasi alles seit dem iPhone 7 mitnehme.

Sehe ich es richtig, dass es in nicht möglich ist, eine E-Mail-Adresse zu erstellen, auf die mehrere Personen einer Familie zugreifen können? Ich hab bisher nie drüber nachgedacht, weil es einfach nicht notwendig war, aber es erscheint mir so ein simples Feature zu sein, welches einfach existieren sollte.

@kaiserkiwi Du kannst eine Custom Domain teilen, sodass jeder in der Familie sich damit eine Emailadresse erstellen kann, aber ich wüsste nicht, dass man eine Adresse mit mehreren Personen teilen kann. Was wäre dein Usecase?

I'm so glad Ivory has the language selection for posts now (at least in TestFlight). Finally I can post in English again without constantly switching between apps (what resulted in me pretty much only post im German).

My English is still pretty bad but most people here roughly know what I'm trying to say. So I'll probably continue. 😁

Liebe die … Gegensprechanlage (und damit auch Klingel etc) defekt und für die ist das kein Thema mit Priorität. Also wird es erst nächsten Monat repariert.

Freue mich drauf meine Pakete die nächste Zeit suchen zu müssen, weil jeder Zusteller hier mittlerweile nur noch angibt, dass die Sendung im Briefkasten liegt, statt anzugeben wo sie wirklich ist. Fehlen schon mehrere Pakete deswegen. Das dürfte sich nun häufen.

Werde also wohl den "lokalen Einzelhandel" unterstützen müssen. Was bedeutet ewig durch die Gegen zu fahren, weil Lichtenberg keine Infrastruktur hat. 🙃
