@rmdzn @indonesia @jogja pengen banget ikutan kalo ada di Surabaya. Diskusinya yang opsional membuat jadi ga ada paksaan harus ngeshare pandangan di akhir pertemuan. Karena terkadang, belum tentu ngeshare pun orangnya bakal tertarik atau paham sama yang kita baca.

ActivityPub software should also have a Visibility option for Following (People that you follow) like in Instagram instead of just Follower. Sometimes we just want to share to the trusted inner circle that we have instead to all the followers

@freemo thats only to follower. What i mean is for following. If i have 500 Follower but only 100 Following. I want to share it to 100 people that i follow. Even better again if people that i follow, follow mr back too. That would filter the 100 people properly become less.

How does Misskey.ID Admin desk looks like?
Here... a mess lmao. Haven't got a time to clean it properly (lot of dust builds up to the miniPC and NAS). The Launchpad and nanoKONTROL wasnt mine. I borrow it from a friend. I'm mostly do everything mobile nowadays, so yeah.

However, we had to take a careful look at the complexities that arise since not every Threads user will opt in to turn on sharing to the fediverse. Prioritizing the user experience for both those who federate and those who choose not to is important to us. Which also means federated and non-federated users on Threads should still be able to interact with one another seamlessly.

Quite responsible enough> Unlike other federated platforms, Threads doesn’t simply federate every post. Given that features like replies may or may not be federated, we had to build UI/UX treatments and notices to help people understand what is happening and what to expect when posting.

I guess thats quite delicate handling indeed. Threads user probably most of it (the non-techies) doesn't really understand how federated decentralized platform works.> Building a federated social networking app is a complex and delicate process if it is to be done safely. While we don’t have exact dates or details on our milestones just yet, we’re committed to a fully interoperable experience, and we’ll take the time to get this right and grow the fediverse responsibly.

I hope that statement will remains in a good faith in the future. Not just a marketing speech.

Shit happens on the server and got 502 because, the logrotate doesn't work and leave me with 10GB+ of logs.

The pain of setting up public instance that need to be monitored occasionaly, always see the log lmao.

  3. Add a title (e.g., Spam)
  4. Select all the context checkboxes

@martin @aral creating a whitelist mode federation features would be the best i guess. Only connecting with trusted fedi server that is moderated and maintained. Since a lot of spam coming from the unmaintained and unmoderated open registration server.
