@gruber Your oldest bar is from 1860? I keep forgetting how new everything is over there. When I lived in Nottingham, I used to go to one of the pubs that claims to be the oldest in England - Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem (“The Trip” to its friends), so called because it was an inn during the Crusades in the 12th century. And down the road from there is Ye Olde Salutation Inn (“The Sal”), which dates from the 1400s. There is a bit of a rivalry between the two establishments.

Like many people, I had my Apple ID locked last night, and it was a big hassle trying to get it unlocked and working again.
One tip - when you go through all the rigmarole to get it going again, one thing that doesn't switch on by default is receiving iMessages or FaceTime calls via your Apple ID. So, like me, you will probably be missing messages until you reenable those in Settings. Also, if you send somebody a new iMessage it will default to your phone number which may not be what you want.
@jamesthomson yeah, it does sound like it should just be a renaming of everything. But “software update of some kind on the back end” on a Friday sounds like a recipe for disaster
