This is rad! Goodbye playing on my phone when I'm stuck somewhere and bored. Hello reading (ok, and playing) on my PDA when I'm stuck somewhere and bored.

P.S. I just tried to slide my PDA stylus into the headphone jack of my cellphone. In my defense the headphone jack is in roughly the same location as the stylus slot on the PDA.

@brad_frost every time i bone up on CSS, i feel like i want to die. the problem is, it makes it seem like a guy like me could design something. when really, not so much at all. i learn the mechanics of it, but anything i produce looks like krap.

@bersling @brad_frost this is all super true. I have used tailwind on a few projects to dial the interface in before a real designer cleaned it up, and it still did look passable.

    It's hard to describe the intensity of the fandom among some youngish American Christians who saw in the of the 1980s a sliver of hope for an alternative to the mainstream subculture of the day — a way that could be angry, hopeful, poetic, and political without the trappings of American politics.

    A beautiful naïveté.

    However, I will note one very positive aspect of Bluesky (BS), apart from my growing list of criticisms. Its onboarding process is simple, fast, and straightforward, and that alone gives it an enormous boost for most people.
