I am really conflicted about using to generate artwork for a website for my radio show.

My radio show really benefits everyone involved except me. It's like a service for the artists I play, and their fans.

That being said, I have been in this space for the past 25 years or so, and the thought of spending $600 for a logo on something i will never recoup on doesn't sound like a good idea.

So far, i haven't done it yet, but boy do i get tempted.

i REALLY want to preserve because it looks like alot of people find my old posts using hashtag searches, and fire up really interesting conversations about things I mentioned ages ago.

I need to see if the migration process allows users to brings toots over. if so, i'm in.

Thinking about how to handle the audio of my radio show on my new instance.

The show runs every saturday on FM radio, but in the end, i have a pile of audio files to host. They come out weekly, so it's pretty much a podcast.

Need to come up with a domain for my upcoming (on friday) instance.

It is going to be a vehicle to promote a radio show I host every Saturday night. My show centers around independent music from the north central area.

My hope is to attract users interested in submitting music to the show, trading gig among themselves, and promoting local gigs.

Any ideas?

This is funny, as I got the name from "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon'.. Where, after spending a bunch of years in the ohio music scene, everyone is n degrees separated. In reality, n -> 1 .

I quite liked Netflix’s treatment of 3 Body Problem. The only thing that suspends belief, beyond all the hard sci-fi, is: a bunch of young people are friends that stick around and see each other often? That’s sci-fi.
