@funkwhale Hey, I'm on my way to launching a funkwhale, and I've noticed if I upload FLAC files, they get served as FLAC files... any way I can tell funkwhale to transcode as mp3 or opus and serve that? or serve both and let people choose which one?

I really want to see #PeerTube succeed. But I don't see many videos slide across my #mastodon feed. It feels like PeerTube videos don't achieve wide federation.

I think this is because people don't follow as many PeerTube accounts and because PeerTube accounts don't post as often as Mastodon or other microblogging accounts.

Consider this... there isn't much downside to following all PeerTube accounts that you come across and boosting their posts because they are few and infrequent.

Today I fixed the video conferencing that has been broke for the last few weeks apparently.

My office tech support didn’t understand the Cisco switch having all of those interfaces as trunk mode might explain why it isn’t working.

So took me a few minutes to diagnose… good times either way and office mates are rad

I really wish mastodon would include a little icon on filtered posts to indicate if the post contains an image. there's a world of difference between "CW: lewd" and "CW: lewd" + has an image.
