@masukomi it was already considered. I'm agreed with Kokubun-san here that in real-world use case you wouldn't mistake it "is passing" spec with it block-receiver. https://bugs.ruby-lang.org/issues/18980#Compatibility

Having _1 means that devs can use _2, _3, ... in their code, which I think that should be avoided.

@daringfireball I'm not sure if I'm risking burning my house down (lol) but there're actually a few third party ones that look similar to MagSafe Battery Pack and can be recharged via USB-C or Lightning. I think those are pretty nice.

I've just noticed an increase in my number of followers here. Could this be due to the Twitter rate limit effect? It's interesting to think about what would happen if everyone from Twitter joined this federated platform

SUCCESS!!! 🙌🏻

Went to the Apple Store last night, shared my AirPods Pro woes with the resident Genius™, walked out with brand new AirPods Pro.

Interestingly:

  • 3 different SKUs: A left AirPod, right AirPod, and the case
  • They would not link (blinking orange LED) until they sat in the charger for 30+ minutes. Apparently, that's to give the firmware time to update.

@davemark did you purchased yours right when it was released in 2019? I brought my day-1 pairs to Apple Store the other day because of the sound quality, but was told that I'll have to pay out-of-warranty service fee because it's already pass 3 year mark.

I had my earpieces replaced 6 times (4 left 2 right) until the sound quality program expired, so I guess that's enough warranty claims for me. Time to get a new pair, I guess. 😄
